The heart behind the name
A bakery with
a little more meaning.
We’re Beckie and Joe, the people behind Bakery 41. We’re proud to be a veteran-owned bakery here in Palestine, Texas.
Our name is rooted in Christian faith and the hope that a season of trial is not the end of the story. Scripture tells of Israel’s forty years in the wilderness and Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness—seasons of testing and preparation.
For us, 41 is a reminder to hold on to God through the hard days and look ahead with hope. “Hold on, your 41 is coming.” It’s encouragement to persevere in faith and trust God through every season.
